I am so happy because the Sun is out!

Southern County Champ Show 2013, Newbury. The last 2 years, it was always rained a lot.
Therefore it was great to see a lot of Sunshine this year! It is very very cold and windy though! But much nicer than raining!

We have met more new clients who never seen us before! OMG! I have been trying the last 3 years, but I still got potential, good!

The Southern County Champ Show 2013 started with great news. One of the MD10 Agent in Moscow who has Black Chow Chow has BOB!!! Her Dog has been very successful since his young age, I met her in Paris WDS 2 years ago, and she was impressed with MD10 HERBAL TEXTURE, MD10 CONDITIONER VOLUME on her Chow Chow. Second day - Gundog - Birmingham National Champshow, Stafford

It has been cold and wet, windy, so not many people were about!!! I am really regretting not bringing DAWN jacket.... Hot drinks needed all the time.

However, few of my client came to told me the great news. Pointer came in 3rd on MD10 White Silky Smooth, Lagotto Reserve Best, good results on Golden Retrievers as usual. Thank you very much for coming to see me.

City of Birmingham Canine Association Show, 2 - 4 September 2011, and Spanish Water Dog Club UK Club show.

The last week end 2 to 4th September was City of Birmingham Canine Association Show in Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry. 

This show I had to set up by myself, so it was a bit of challenge, but I still managed. I am not sure how long I can do this until I get too old!! The weather was great on the setting up day and Friday.

We met few MD10 User again, they are very kind to show me their beautiful proud dogs.

Spanish Water Dog Club, Club Show 2011 was held on Sunday at Kennel Club Building. MD10 sponsor the club show because everything was started because of My Spanish Water Dog, Boris.

I was not following the results, but to see the dogs. I hope everybody including all dogs had a nice day. Win or lose, well done to all the owners and dogs.

Soon, I will have to set off for Richmond show....

Well, great News arrived yesterday again on my return from Russia!!

Alena from Russia I met at the World Dog Show has Black Chow Chow. She went to the International Show in Finland in August, to be judged among other champion Chow Chows. The Judge was English lady called Ms Sheila Jakeman. Alena was brave to wash her dog day before the big show using MD10 Herbal Texture for the first time. MD10 Herbal Texture Shampoo is made for coarse coat, which does not make the coat softer after the shampoo.

The Results? Alena told me that it was amazing, shine and feel of coat, and of course SHE GOT THE VICTORY! YEAH!

Spanish Water Dog's Coat (Perro de Agua Espanol) and The Manchester Dog Society Championship Show 2011

 

Boris was happy not knowing I was getting ready for his shower....

My Spanish Water Dog, Boris used to be very dark brown, but after few shave, faded into Cinnamon or Ash Colour.  I think Spanish Water Dog's coat is very different from each other, quite often coat type goes with coat colour.

Boris has a lot of fluffy under coat, it is really thick and fluffy, ideal for very cold weather. That is why he can spend a whole day in the snow without any problems. However, this means if I leave this coat unattended for 2 months, this fluffy under coat gets tangled. 

When he used to swim every week, it was much easier, but now I can not take him for swim, it is hard. So if you got Spanish Water Dog and have access to Swimming Pool, Sea, Lake, I recommend you to take dogs for swimming every week.

How to Groom (?) Matted Spanish Water Dog

I noticed few people search the Internet to find information of "How to Groom Spanish Water Dog".

You don't Groom Spanish Water Dog using brush or comb, because if you mess up the natural cording, not only that, it will mat up awfully!! Best thing is to keep natural cording, lots of lots of swimming helps.

Boris has a lot of fluffy fluffy under coat. When people rub him giving affection, it makes worse..

So I have to split the matted part using my fingers, along the original cord.

Then Wash with MD10 Texture Shampoo.

If you can not wash them, sometime, 

just wipe with Baby wipe does trick - only quick fix though.

On the other hand this dog has white and dark coat, and the coat is thinner, 

therefore, you can see the curl is tighter (smaller) and shows better.

I never see his coat get tangled as much as Boris'.

The coat looks lighter, but it is sun burnt and nothing to do with his original colour.

See his legs, which is dark.

The curl and cording looks very definite and good.

The Manchester Dog Society Championship Dog Show has now 150 years' history this year. It is amazing. And the 150th show is this week.

First and Second day of Birmingham City Dog Show

- My brand new stand -

Today, I am writing this from my hotel room, it was second day of the Birmingham City Dog Show.


First of all, we came here on Thursday afternoon to set up the stand. Being the first time for us to use Gazebo, it took us quite good time to set it up. 


But the ending result was very content one  - I am very proud of it.


The first day, which was yesterday, we were soooooo busy, you could not believe it was that busy. I already sold out one of the products.


Being Toy Dog day, I met my existing clients who bought in the past too. And when they tell me that how happy they were with the products I feel that all the hard work pays off.


However, I would like to stress that I always want to know even if my clients did not get the results what they wanted - instead, I DO want to know. Because I would like to try to work out what went wrong, and if there are other options, I would love to sort it out for my clients. So, do please let me know if that is the case.


Last weekend (seems like a long time ago), we exhibited in a open show in Milton Keynes, there, I met a very lovely girl who was with her Pomeranian for junior handling. She was so good, so I could not resist to give her a Texture shampoo to try. But I asked her to promise to wash and groom by herself all the time - to keep good relationship with her dog. 


2nd day, which was today, when I was getting ready for the stand, this little young lady appeared in front of me with a beautiful smile.
She told me that she groomed her dog with the shampoo which I gave her, and she told me that she & her dog were very happy indeed.


That made my day - you can not imagine how happy she made me. She stayed with us almost whole day while her parents were showing their dog, and she was very good assistant.


So thank again to her - I am looking forward to meeting her in Richmond Dog Show again next week !
